Chairlift Attendants

Beech Mountain Ski Resort is seeking personable and reliable employees to fulfill the position of Lift Attendant/Ticket Checker for the upcoming Summer Season. Full and Part-Time Positions are available.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely assist guests loading/unloading chairlifts
  • Check/scan tickets & maintain lift stations
  • Ensure patron safety through quality communication
  • Safely unload bicycles
  • Greet each customer with a smile

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Punctuality and schedule management
  • Excellent communication skills

Head Line Cook

Beech Mountain Resort has an immediate opening for an experienced, forward-thinking line cook who is passionate about culinary arts. The ideal candidate for this position will be an individual with experience, drive and enthusiasm for food.  This is a full-time position.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Restaurant cooking experience required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedicated to food quality and control
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards

Group Sales Director

The Group Sales Manager works hand in hand with all the groups to ensure they have the very best experience possible. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, punctual and dependable. Strong communication skills are required for success in this position. This position is seasonal and requires mandatory weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all group reservations for the winter season
  • Helps groups plan their trip
  • Coordinating with other departments for groups’ needs; forecast weekend customer traffic
  • Assist with events and online sales
  • Grow customer base by reaching new market segments or utilizing new sales channels
  • Manage or supervise healthy client relationships with tour operators and voucher companies
  • Create proposals, agreements, contracts, sales reports, and presentations
  • Prepare weekly sales analysis, evaluate performance vs. goals
  • Direct development of sales and marketing materials
  • Ensure operational effectiveness with Group Arrivals
  • Coordinate with marketing department to maximize sales opportunities with every contact

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Four-wheel drive/AWD/snow chains preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.

Cash Control and Ticketing Manager

Cash Control will oversee ticketing to run the department for the evening shift. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable. The Night Time Ticketing Manager will also run Cash Control/Auditing for the evening shift. Communication and problem solving skills are extremely important in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Trains ticket cashiers
  • Maintains change in cash drawers
  • Works with ticketing computer system
  • Communicates information to resort associates and utilizes resort communication systems
  • Count and balance cash, both in the cash facility and out in the park
  • Prepares money for pickup, conducts pickups, and transports money back to Cash Control
  • Maintains high degree of confidentiality of paperwork and information
  • Responds to and takes action to resolve concerns and issues from guests
  • Ensures all paperwork is completed accurately and completely
  • Ensures Cash Services facilities properly stocked, cleaned and organized
  • Completes countdown of cash bags, ensuring accurate sales reports and stated revenue is present
  • Completes various accounting and analysis forms, including deposit spreadsheets
  • Document variances and discrepancies

Requirements or Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred
  • Experience handling money/accounting preferred
