Local Entertainment Auditions at Tweetsie Railroad – Blowing Rock, NC

Tweetsie Railroad is holding Local Entertainment Auditions for the 2026 season. We are seeking energetic performers for live stage shows and interactive Wild West experiences in a family-friendly theme park setting.

Audition Details

• Date: Saturday, January 24
• Time: 9:00 am
• Location: Tweetsie Palace, 300 Tweetsie Railroad Lane, Blowing Rock, NC 28605

Performance Opportunities

Wild West Train Adventure (Cowboy/Cowgirl Roles)

Performers bring the Wild West to life aboard our historic steam-powered train during action-packed adventures enjoyed by guests of all ages.

Roles include:

• Sheriff
• Deputy
• Bad Guys
• Trooper Boggs
• Horse riders

Cast members rotate with costumed characters.
All male performers must be clean shaven.

Live Stage Shows (April 4 – November 1)

Short, high-energy performances multiple times daily.

Diamond Lil’s Can-Can Revue

• All-female cast
• Singer/dancers performing classic can-can choreography
• Up to 5 shows daily

Hopper & Porter’s Musical Celebration

• Character-driven musical show
• Features Hopper, Porter, and Jenny
• Up to 5 shows daily

Tweetsie Magic Show

• Solo performer role
• Family-friendly magic and audience interaction
• Up to 4 shows daily

Country Clogging Jamboree

• High-energy clogging and traditional dance
• Ensemble cast with rotating performers
• Up to 4 shows daily

Season & Schedule

• Season runs: April 4 – November 1
• Additional paid opportunities may be available for:

• • Ghost Train (fall evenings)
  • Tweetsie Christmas (select evenings)

Rehearsal begin in March.

Compensation & Perks

• Weekly pay (varies by role)
• Free complimentary tickets to Tweetsie Railroad and select area attractions

• Days off honored for reasonable requests
