Now Accepting Nominations for 2025 Businesses of the Year

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Watauga County Business of the Year Awards. These awards will be presented in three categories including Large Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, & Start-Up Business of the Year.

The awards will be presented during the 10th Annual High Country Economic Kickoff Luncheon on January 15, 2026 at Appalachian State's Grandview Ballroom at the North Endzone Facility.

Organizations are awarded based on criteria that includes staying power, growth in sales and/or workforce, innovative products and services, strong response to adversity, contributions to community-oriented projects, and use of local resources in business operations.
