November Business After Hours Postponed Due to Winter Weather

Posted By: David Jackson Chamber News,

Due  to winter weather in the High Country and the threat of refreeze Tuesday night, the Boone Area and Blowing Rock Chambers of Commerce announce that the joint Business After Hours scheduled for Tuesday, November 12th, has been postponed.

The Watauga Campus of Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute, which was set to host tonight’s event, was delayed in opening Tuesday due to the winter weather. With a shortened timeframe for the student and staff groups involved in the event to prepare, and considering the weather surrounding the building dedication, it was decided to seek an alternate date to put CCC&TI in the best position possible to welcome visitors to its campus for this event.

CCC&TI and the local Chambers will work toward an Open House and Building Dedication Ceremony in early 2020. Once a date is established, a schedule of events will be shared with the community.

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a Business Before Hours, Tuesday, November 19th at Samaritan’s Purse. The event runs from 7:30-9am and you can register for this free event by clicking this link.

The Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce holds its next Business After Hours, Tuesday, November 19th at Town Tavern in Downtown Blowing Rock. The event runs from 5:30-7:30pm and is sponsored by Charter Spectrum. More information can be found at this link.

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce will announce its 2020 Business After Hours schedule in early December.
