Role Description: The Sales Specialist is an entry-level, full time, contract, hybrid role based in Boone, NC, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this position, the Sales Specialist will identify and qualify prospective clients, conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and present tailored solutions that align with client needs.

The role involves managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The Sales Specialist will collaborate with team members on sales campaigns, support client onboarding, and provide ongoing customer service to strengthen relationships and encourage repeat business.

This role may also involve participating in local events or meetings to represent the company and support business development.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.
• Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and building trust-based client relationships.
• Sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Training and Sales Management skills to help coach team members, share best practices, and contribute to structured sales processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office collaboration in Boone, NC with independent work from home.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and comfort using CRM and basic office software.
• Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Pay: Base contract pay + commission depending on experience.
