Pre-Employment Transitions Regional Specialist

DESCRIPTION: Provide instructional coaching to Pre-Employment Transitions Specialists and assist in the coordination of instruction to students with disabilities. Ensure delivery of quality services that consist of job exploration counseling, instruction in self-advocacy, workplace readiness, post-secondary counseling, and community job shadowing and sampling experiences. Ensure completion of required documentation and exchange programmatic information with varied team members across multiple settings. Maintain on-going communication and positive relationships between staff, schools, and agency partners. Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer Bachelor's Degree in a human service-related field with three years of experience working with youth in transition-related services or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Background check, MVR check, Driver's License with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required. Job is integral to school operation and student presence, therefore, the use, scheduling, and approval of vacation requests will follow the school operation calendar.

DETAILS: Full Time (Monday-Friday schedule) with excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vacation/Holiday/Personal paid time off, matching Retirement, Travel Reimbursement, etc. Position is based out of local High Schools; regional travel required.
