Jackson Sumner & Associates is seeking a Human Resources/Office Manager. This full-time/exempt position is responsible for providing a wide range of HR and office management support to the company including developing and communicating company policies and procedures to employees, managing onboarding of new employees as well as terminations, processing employment paperwork, scheduling/managing calendar, making/confirming meeting arrangements. Must be self- managed, maintain strict confidentiality. Must be a resourceful, independent thinker, and self-sufficient as well as self-motivated. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with various deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree; or equivalent education in Administrative field

  • 2 Years of experience

  • Ability to create and interpret documents such as employment and operations manual, and written directions.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations

Essential Functions
  • Developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; participating in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

  • Developing, recommending, and implementing personnel policies and procedures, preparing and maintaining Employee Handbook

  • Developing and maintaining records, reports, and logs to conform to employment regulations

  • Participate in Leadership Meetings and other departmental meetings as required

  • Managing overall administrative activities for the office

  • Responsible for the day-to-day facilities operations including supervising the Building Maintenance and Cleaning position; including but not limited to the arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities; purchasing office supplies, furniture, office equipment etc. for the entire staff

  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information

  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned
