Avery Community Health Coordinator

The Avery Community Health Coordinator Position is responsible for the administrative components of the Center for Disease Control’s  Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Grant, and other Avery County specific community health grants within Western Youth Network. This position will provide leadership to the Avery Youth Coalition and support for other community health/substance use prevention efforts & initiatives. This role is designed to work in direct conjunction with Western Youth Network’s Avery Youth Programming Coordinator Position(s).

Avery Afterschool/Summer Camp Programmer

The After School/Summer Camp Programmer is responsible for overseeing students who are enrolled in WYN’s afterschool program.  The person in this position will supervise and build relationships with school age students, assist with academics, supervise volunteers, may facilitate prevention curriculum and maintain a structured and safe environment for the students.
