JOB DESCRIPTION — SALES MANAGER

Location: Boone, NC (servicing Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Jefferson, and surrounding areas within 1 hour of Boone)

Mountain Vista Window Washing is the High Country's most awarded window and property service company, built on a simple idea: show up, do the work right, and take care of the community along the way. We're looking for a Sales Manager to drive new business and turn estimates into booked jobs across Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Jefferson, and the surrounding mountain communities.

This is a hands-on, on-the-road role. You'll run site assessments, build accurate quotes, and follow up until the job is booked — all while representing a brand with 200+ five-star reviews and a reputation for doing right by every client. If you're driven by commission, comfortable knocking on doors and picking up the phone, and want to grow with a company that's still expanding, this is your seat.

• Spend roughly 8 hours on sales-focused days actively pursuing new business and responding to and completing site assessments for company-generated leads.
• Respond to sales-related client inquiries promptly throughout the week.
• Conduct on-site assessments for all company- and self-generated leads and, if a client is not available, call them during the visit to gather all necessary details.
• Work closely with our CSR/Dispatcher to schedule jobs efficiently and maintain detailed client records, including photos of each side of the home, ladder height, and other information needed for proper technician execution.
• Prepare and deliver accurate service quotes for all services we offer for every site assessment.
• Follow up on open estimates and pending opportunities.
• Conduct cold calls for commercial prospects and door-to-door outreach for residential leads.
• Contribute to achieving the company's overall revenue goals through consistent sales efforts.
• Report KPIs for sales activity such as outbound calls, conversion rates, and other metrics.

Expected Yearly Pay: $50,000–$80,000 per year, based on performance (base salary plus commission).

Base Pay: $15/hour base salary, paid bi-weekly.

Sales Commissions:

• 10% commission on revenue from self-generated leads (door knocking, cold calls, networking, etc.).
• 5% commission on revenue from returning clients, upsells, or company-generated / passive / paid leads.
• Commission is calculated over the same pay period as the base salary. If total commission earned exceeds the base salary paid for that period, the employee receives the commission amount. If total commission earned is less than the base salary, the employee receives the base salary only — base pay is never reduced by a commission shortfall.
• Sales commissions paid out after completion of work and receipt of payment from the client.

Vehicle: A company truck is provided for this role.

Employment: At-will employment.

• A self-starter who's comfortable generating their own leads, not just working what's handed to them.
• Strong communication skills — you'll be the face of Mountain Vista at every site visit.
• Organized and detail-oriented; accurate quotes and clean records keep the whole operation running.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company truck provided).
• Comfortable with a commission-driven pay structure and a self-directed schedule.
