Watauga Democrat Staff Secure 23 North Carolina Press Awards

The Watauga Democrat staff yield 23 North Carolina press awards this year, through hard-work and consistency.  Among the numerous awards, Boone: My Hometown, received 1st place in the "Best Niche Publication" in the advertising contest.  Boone: My Hometown, which serves as a relocation and community guide, is a collaborative publication with the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Watauga Democrat.  Full article can be found here.
