2025 Community Award Nominations Open for Spirit of Boone

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for our 2025 Community Awards, which will be presented during this year’s Spirit of Boone, taking place Thursday, September 18, 2025. Save the date!

As we honor the businesses and individuals who exemplify community leadership and service, this year’s gathering will carry added significance as it will mark nearly one year since Hurricane Helene. Spirit of Boone will offer a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the resilience and commitment shown across our region, and to reflect on the lasting impact these leaders continue to make in the High Country.

This year we’re opening up the nomination process to the community.

After witnessing how the High Country came together in the wake of the storm, it's important to us that this event reflects the voices of those who lived it, shaped the response, and are still helping our community rise, rebuild, and move forward.
