The Watauga Women in Leadership committee invites you to our Spring Coffee Connections for 2025 on Wednesday, May 21 at the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce from
8:00am-9:15am.
Join Watauga Women in Leadership as we come together to discuss the power of Women & Wealth.
Amanda White will engage, empower, and enrich us by providing a supportive space for participants to reflect on their personal wealth journey. Whether you’re looking to set new financial goals or refine existing ones, this is a wonderful opportunity to network, share experiences, and foster financial growth. Grab your coffee, connect with fellow leaders, and leave with actionable insights to help you stay focused and motivated on your women & wealth journey.
Amanda White is a community- focused banking professional with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals, Amanda White has been in the banking industry for 30 years. She currently manages the Boone, NC Banking Center for First Horizon Bank and proudly serves on the steering committee for the Stars on the Horizon leadership development program, of which she is a co-founder. Additionally, she is a 2023 graduate of the Ascend small business banking program, which is a cohort of just 20 selected banking center managers from across the company. Amanda is also a member of two First Horizon Associate Resource Groups: NC Women’s Initiative Group and Alliance and Allies Group.
Amanda is involved in the community by being on the Business Development Committee, a member of the Watauga Women in Leadership and a Board Member with the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce, is a Board Member of the Hospitality House of Northwest North Carolina and serves on the Finance Committee, as well as Treasurer for her church, St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church. She is also a board member of the Diabetes Family Connection. Her previous community involvement includes being Treasurer of the Hunger and Health Coalition and Treasurer of the High Country United Way.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband, two children and two beagles, as well as watching soccer; especially if her son is on the pitch!
WWIL Coffee Connections are complimentary for Boone Area Chamber members and $5/per person for non-Chamber members. Members, please make sure you are logged into your account before registering.
