Marketing Coordinator - Full job description
The Marketing Coordinator at Lost Province Brewing Company has an eye for detail and can work well with others. They will develop and execute plans for marketing campaigns for the business. They do this through drafting reports, creating content, and coordinating its production with our sales team, restaurant managers, or ownership team. They track results from these activities to plan future efforts based on what has been seen before.
Lost Province Brewing Company comprises three companies: Lost Province Brewing Company in downtown Boone, Lost Province at Hardin Creek, and Coyote Kitchen & Lost Province Taproom. We’re committed to our community, employees, and the environment.
The Marketing Coordinator oversees Social Media Assistants at each location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior
- Understand, learn, and maintain brand voice and style for each respective location
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing marketing and sales data while identifying and analyzing competitors
- Create promotional materials via Canva Pro; these may be for social media posts, traditional print advertisements, or posters and signage for different businesses
- Craft clear marketing copy and organize promotional activities for new products/services
- Order merchandise and communicate with vendors
- Other duties as assigned
Digital Marketing
- Design and implement successful digital marketing campaigns
- Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities
- Oversee Social Media Assistants; they assist with day-to-day content creation
- Create social media content optimized for Facebook & Instagram
- Run paid social media advertising campaigns via Meta
Traditional Marketing
- Evaluate and oversee traditional print advertising opportunities
- Create ads for print advertisements via Canva Pro or Adobe Illustrator
- Evaluate other advertising and/or partnership opportunities
Web Development
- Update Wix websites as needed for multiple businesses
- Share live music schedule on websites
- Create and maintain blogs for each website
- Identify other ways to strengthen websites
- Evaluate and implement strong SEO strategies
- Communicate with sales team to produce weekly emails
Events
- Coordinate Get Lost for a Cause events that give back to the community at our downtown Boone location
- Communicate with managers and ownership team to identify events at different locations and come up with creative ways to market those events
- Book music and other live entertainment at different locations
- Coordinate game nights at different locations
- Plan a yearly Oktoberfest and adapt other events to align with Downtown Boone happenings
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven work experience in marketing or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Experience analyzing data
- Strong writing skills
- Understanding of SEO
- Solid computer skills, including G-Suite
- Familiarity with social media platforms and Meta Business Suite
- Experience with running Meta ad campaigns
- Familiarity with with Wix (or willingness to learn)
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Independent problem solver who can also work well with a team
- Willingness and general excitement to learn and grow
- BS degree in Marketing or relevant field

Salary commensurate with experience. The listed salary range is based on working a full 40 hours per week.
