-Regularly organize “kitchen shares” and “bar takeovers” where the Cardinal invites guest chefs and bartenders in to serve a special menu of their creation. We use this to highlight young chefs and folks from other areas.
-Regularly organize themed cocktail nights, building lists around certain spirits or a theme. We often focus these on NC made spirits.

-In May of 2017 and 2018 participated in Asheville Cocktail week both by being a guest bartender at a bar takeover and by judging the cocktail competitions.

-In the spring of 2019 worked with OASIS to conceptualize and host Active Bystander Training for bar and restaurant staff in the High Country. Our training program focused on recognizing and reacting to instances of sexual harassment and assault, de-escalation techniques, and how to be an active bystander.
