Childcare Wins in Raleigh and its
Impact on the High Country
We invite you to Policy & Pints, a private gathering hosted by the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, August 25, from 5:00-7:00 PM at The Cardinal.
Networking will be followed by a moderated panel discussion covering the childcare policy and funding changes that came out of Raleigh this year, what they mean for the local childcare landscape, and where the work goes next. Panelists include:
- Halee Hartley, Owner of Kid Cove and member of the NC Task Force on Child Care and Early Education
- Elisha Childers, Executive Director of The Children's Council of Watauga County
- Julie Page, Owner of Little Jewels Home Childcare
- Jennifer Warren, Executive Director of Western Youth Network

This event is an initiative of the Chamber's Advocacy Task Force, and we welcome your voice at the table.
