The Salvation Army of the High Country Ribbon Cutting

Join us and The Salvation Army of the High Country team to celebrate the Grand Opening of their new location located at 315 State Farm Rd. in Boone, NC on Tuesday, May 16 from 3:00PM - 4:00PM with remarks and a ribbon cutting at 3:30PM. 

With this move, The Salvation Army of the High Country has been able to fulfill their goal of starting a laundry ministry. The Loads of Love laundry ministry will give low-income families and the homeless a place to wash their clothes for free. Their hours of operation will be 9:00AM - 2:00PM, Monday through Thursday with appointments as needed. Those needing this service or those wanting more information on partnering with The Salvation Army may call 828-262-1005.

The community is asked to bring a can of soup or practical pantry items in support of this new ministry.
