About The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place was created through the coming together of Q' Pasa Appalachia and Immigrant Connection of the High Country, bringing years of community relationships, programs, resources, language access, advocacy, and support together under one roof.
Our mission is reflected in the words that guide our work:
Connecting Cultures | Supporting Communities
The Meeting Place is more than a physical space. It is a place where cultures connect, relationships grow, resources are shared, and people from different backgrounds can come together and know that they belong.
We are incredibly grateful to the individuals, families, organizations, volunteers, donors, and community partners who have supported this journey. This celebration belongs to all of you, too!
Whether you have been part of our journey for years or are just learning about The Meeting Place, you are invited, and we would love to celebrate with you!
When: Tuesday, October 13, from 2:30 to 3:30 PM with Ribbon Cutting at 3:00 PM sharp!
Where: The Meeting Place, 215 Boone Heights Drive Ste 208, Boone, NC, 28607
We look forward to seeing you!
