A merger, a building renovation and now a new Executive Director

Wednesday, June 10, from 12:00-1:00PM Remarks and Ribbon cutting at 12:30PM.

We invite the community to tour The Hunger & Health Coalition's facility and see firsthand the work being done to help our community thrive. Come be a part of their compassionate care as we charge toward a healthier and cared-for community.  Over the past year, their team has transformed their facility into an optimal space to serve their clients and community for integrated health care and food.

H&HC are also pleased to introduce their new Executive Director, Lindsey Sullivan, whose leadership marks an exciting new chapter for their organization.

The Hunger & Health Coalition's mission is to transform individual and community health by delivering a continuum of food, medication, and comprehensive healthcare that addresses the whole person’s well-being. Through our access programs, community members are able to access free food, medications, and primary care — all in one building, and at no cost.

We believe that health and well-being require a seamless connection between the exam room, the pharmacy, and the food on the kitchen table. This is why we close that gap and walk with our neighbors in their health journey. This includes providing medically tailored groceries, individualized nutrition counseling from registered dietitians, dispensing life-saving medications, providing healthcare that includes mental health therapy, and mobile delivery for those with mobility and transportation barriers. Our staff social worker simplifies that path to wellness by assisting folks in navigating internal and external resources.
