SCORE and the Watauga EDC would like to invite you to a Lunch & Learn with Herman Metzler on Thursday, June 15 at the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce.
What does it take in turbulent times to stay in business and be successful? Are you aware why small businesses fail? Have you selected an advisory board? This and many more topics will be covered in an effort to help you succeed in difficult times.

Herman Metzler has spent over 30 years pioneering international business expansion for U.S. companies. Herman was educated in Germany and began his professional career at the General Electric Company in 1962. He held various positions in international management and marketing in various places around the world. In 1984, Mr. Metzler joined Exide Electronics as Vice President of International Operations. He was responsible for all international business activity including joint ventures, technology licensing agreements, and acquisitions and operations. He is a long time member of the U.S. Department of Commerce District Export Council, the World Trade Center of North Carolina and a frequent speaker at various North Carolina business and academic meetings. He is a member of the Asheville SCORE Chapter-High Country Branch and the Raleigh SCORE Chapters.
