Thaw out from winter with a little sunshine on your plate as High Country Young Professionals gather at Betty’s Biscuits in downtown Boone! Enjoy locally sourced bites and beverages while connecting with fellow young professionals in one of Boone’s most inviting spaces. It’s the perfect pick-me-up and a chance to step away from the routine.
The evening will feature a guided networking activity led by special guest Dr. Jim Street, designed to make meeting new people easy, engaging, and meaningful.

Originally a beloved food truck, Betty’s Biscuits has grown into a brick-and-mortar breakfast and lunch destination in downtown Boone. This charming spot makes everything from scratch, sourcing ingredients from local farms and neighborhood partners to serve fresh, flavorful dishes and drinks every day. Betty’s Biscuits is a favorite gathering place in the High Country.
After 36 years in higher education as a leadership educator, Dr. Jim Street founded Ridgeline Leadership to bring his experience into the business and community arena. He now partners with individuals and organizations to strengthen leadership capacity and build high-performing teams, facilitating the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Watauga Leadership Institute. Dr. Street helps clients identify their “ridgeline” and develop the strategy needed to reach it.
This event is free of charge! Donations are appreciated.
Please register your full party. Your business does not have to be a member of the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce to participate.
These events are exclusive to High Country Young Professionals under the age of 40.
