Emma Faulkner

Emma Faulkner is a driven communicator and community advocate who currently serves as the Content Manager for the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce. She began her journey with the Chamber in January 2021 as a Communications Intern, taking on more responsibilities as the Content Manager in 2022 and transitioning to a full-time role in January 2025.

Throughout her time at the Chamber, Emma has made an impact by using strategic and relationship-focused communications to support advocacy efforts, elevate workforce development initiatives, and highlight key community priorities. She’s also led meaningful, creative event promotion and marketing campaigns that have significantly expanded the Chamber’s digital reach. Emma is actively engaged with several local organizations and events, including High Country Young Professionals, Watauga Housing Council, STABLE Workplaces, and the High Country Jazz Festival.

Emma's work is fueled by her passion for creating community and showcasing the people and businesses that make the High Country region thrive.

A native of Zebulon, NC and Corinth-Holders High School Graduate, Emma moved to Boone in in August 2020. After taking a break from higher education amidst the pandemic, she returned to school part-time while at the chamber. Emma received her Associate's in Business Administration and a Marketing Certificate with Honors at Caldwell Community College in May 2025. Upon graduation, Emma received the Most Outstanding Student in her program.

Emma was sworn in as an NC Public Notary in 2021 for Watauga County.

When not in the office, Emma enjoys walks on the greenway, engaging in her Downtown Boone community, cooking, and camping.
