'Tis the season for a festive December Business After Hours! La Quinta Inn & Suites, together with Beech Mountain Resort and Western Youth Network, invites you to a lively evening of networking and holiday-season fun. Join us on Thursday, December 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for an evening of meaningful conversation and community connection.
Indulge in craft beer from Booneshine, fine wine, delicious catered bites from Stick Boy Catering, and a cozy hot cocoa bar to warm up the evening. Western Youth Network will be wrapping up their Festival of Trees fundraiser, featuring wreaths available for purchase and reminders to bid on beautifully designed Christmas trees created by local businesses, complete with gift baskets.
Guests will have access to multiple spaces throughout La Quinta, including the lobby, breakfast area (where hot cocoa awaits!), the meeting room with catered offerings, and select guest rooms open for viewing.
Enjoy live entertainment from Kyle Horton, a Country/Folk artist from Banner Elk, who will add a touch of Christmas spirit to his setlist. And of course, save time for a visit with Santa, who will be joining us for the festivities!

The Festival of Trees is Western Youth Network’s cherished annual holiday fundraiser, bringing the community together with beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths designed by local businesses and individuals. Each piece is auctioned to support WYN’s youth mentoring, after-school, and wellness programs that strengthen families and empower young people across the High Country.
This year’s auction opens on November 19, followed by festive events happening throughout the community through December 4. Guests can explore the trees, place their bids, and enjoy a variety of holiday activities. The full schedule of events can be found on their website!
