3rd Annual Fairway Fore Foundation Golf Classic

The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the Fairway Fore Foundation Golf Classic on Thursday, April 30, at the picturesque course at Jefferson Landing. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a 501(c)3 arm of the Chamber providing support to long-term economic development projects in the High Country.
The Fairway Fore Foundation Golf Classic is presented by Carolina West Wireless and Graystone Lodge. Additional sponsorship support comes from ERX Emergency Restoration Xperts and Beech Mountain Resort.
Tournament Schedule:
9:00 am - Registration, coffee, & pre-round warm up
9:30 am - Brunch in the Clubhouse Dining Room
11:00 am - Shotgun start: Captain’s Choice format
4:00 pm - Post-round reception & awards
Registration Fees & Additional Details:
Green & cart fees, coffee, lunch, and post-round reception, plus (2) mulligans per player, and a special gift for each player are included with registration. Additional on-course snacks and beverages are provided to all participants.
$200 - Member or employee of Chamber member business
$225 - Future Member
$800 - Member Foursome
$900 - Future Member Foursome
Prizes will be awarded to top teams. Individual awards, for both men and ladies, include hole-in-one (specific hole), longest drive, and closest to the pin. We're also excited to feature on-course cash games, like Beat the Pro and Dice Game, to boost your chances of winning throughout the day.

In 2025, the Foundation helped distribute $1.35 million in Hurricane Recovery support, including $827,500 in Hope for the High Country grants to 100+ small businesses. The Foundation also invested over $65,000 in local childcare initiatives, supports leadership development through Watauga Leadership Institute, and continues to advance programs like STABLE Workplaces that strengthen our regional workforce.
