Organization Overview
South Fork Design Build is a Boone, North Carolina–based architecture-led residential design and construction firm specializing in modern custom homes throughout the High Country, including Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Linville, and surrounding Western North Carolina communities.
Led by Jeff Mance, a licensed architect and general contractor, South Fork brings architecture, land evaluation, preconstruction planning, and construction together under one coordinated team. We work with clients from early site feasibility and custom home design through construction and completion.
Our approach is shaped by the realities of building in the North Carolina mountains, including slope, soils, drainage, access, climate, views, and long-term durability. The result is thoughtful, site-responsive architecture designed for the people who live there and grounded in the Appalachian landscape.
