Boone High Country Rentals: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
Boone High Country Rentals is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our single-family and multi-family property portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry)
• Complete daily assigned work orders
• Assist with renovations and special projects
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Conduct property inspections and report maintenance needs
• Ability to document and report maintenance concerns to management
• Maintain inventory and order supplies
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Perform recurring maintenance, including changing out air filters, water filters, smoke detectors, gutter cleaning, etc. 
• Execute maintenance across multiple counties in single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties
• Regular property inspections may include common area maintenance and trash pick-up

Qualifications Needed:

• The ideal candidate will be a team player, dependable, and flexible with strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Working knowledge of basic handyman skills, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, landscaping, etc. is required
• Clear and effective writing and speaking skills 
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude with vendors, co-workers, tenants, and the general public
• Proficient technology skills to include using a Smartphone, tablet, or computer
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs unassisted
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
• Must pass a criminal background and drug test for employment (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Full-time position with potential for approved overtime based on rental season

Pay range: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
