The Watauga Women in Leadership Committee invites you to our inaugural Fireside Connections on Wednesday, June 17th from 5:30 - 7:00pm for a Wisdom & Worth Retreat, here in Boone, NC.
Melanie Lewis, Founder of Wisdom & Worth, will provide a safe space to discuss what's true, what's possible, and what's next for each of us.
Attendees will gather at Melanie Lewis' Retreat to enjoy light refreshments and a mocktail before we gather for our fireside discussion. As we gather, Melanie will foster a space for real conversation, genuine connection, and a little something you likely didn't know you needed. You will leave with a deeper understanding of what's actually driving your experience, a fresh perspective on what's possible, and a whole new appreciation for the power of community.

About the Host
Melanie Lewis is the founder of Wisdom & Worth is a gardener who nurtures both plants and possibilities. She is an outdoor enthusiast who finds peace in the open air. Before founding Wisdom & Worth, Melanie equated success with a structured plan, grinding determination, and always saying "yes." She followed a path that seemed perfectly mapped out on paper while in reality she was grappling with burnout and questions about personal and professional life alignment and harmony. Those questions inspired her to work with a coach to gain clarity, tools to question certain narratives, and the G.R.A.C.E. to create Wisdom & Wealth in the High Country of North Carolina.
WWIL Fireside Connections are complimentary for Boone Area Chamber members and $5/per person for non-Chamber members.

The mission of Watauga Women in Leadership (WWIL) is to empower women in business and leadership in all stages of their careers. The organization presents events that support women through networking and educational speakers. We hope to enable and grow business, support and mentoring opportunities among professional women in the High Country.
