Business After Hours - Schaefer Center
A combined Business After Hours with the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce
The Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts plays host to our October Business After Hours, which is a combined networking event with the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy an evening inside this unique venue while sampling great food and local craft beers.
We also will be presenting a new feature called, Work It, Watauga! This hyper-local pitch event is a collaborative effort between the Watauga County Economic Development Commission and the App State Career Development Center.
Pre-selected businesses from the Boone and Blowing Rock Chambers will each deliver a 60-second pitch on job availabilities while a few select job seekers will pitch their qualities to a room full of potential employers.
This short event serves as a trial run for a larger scale program to be scheduled in the future. Come out and support your fellow colleagues as they play to an audience of their peers. Who knows, you may find your next star employee at the same time!
