Heidi Ragan

Heidi Ragan is currently the Watauga District Manager for Blue Ridge Energy. As a proud graduate of Appalachian State University (’02, ’05, ’10), she is excited to be back in the mountains serving a community she loves. She began her professional career in 2005 with Appalachian State University as the Director of Career Services for the Walker College of Business. In 2011, she transitioned to a corporate position with a logistics company in Hickory, NC and then again in early 2017 to work for Blue Ridge Energy as the Training and Development Manager at the corporate office. While working in Hickory, NC she graduated from Leadership Catawba and served on their leadership board for three years. She also served on the board for Downtown Hickory YMCA and Family Guidance Center. Since moving back to Boone, she accepted positions to serve on the board for Boone Area Chamber and Western Youth Network (WYN). She is a proud wife to Greg and mother to Libby Ann and enjoys spending time with them rediscovering this area they call home.
