Work as a team with the Business Risk Consultant in managing daily operations.
Manage, and serve as the primary contact for, a group of current business insurance accounts.
Ensure that each client has the maximum opportunity to succeed and fulfill their dreams.
Maintain a high level of client service and satisfaction.
Perform annual review and risk exposure analysis of renewal policies for proper coverage, incorporating information obtained from client.
Appropriate marketing & placement of account renewals.
Achieving agency account retention goals through proactive account rounding, up-selling of limits and coverages, and by providing an extraordinary customer experience.
Maintain control of renewal expiration lists, binders, and any aged receivables in accordance with agency guidelines.
Maintain electronic client files and ensure proper documentation, by processing all policies, endorsement changes, invoices, binders, certificates of insurance, documentation, activities, etc., according to agency guidelines
Respond to client inquiries, incoming e-mail, mail, and company requests in accordance with agency guidelines.
Review all incoming documents/contracts to insure items are received as ordered.
Identify a professional development track including certain industry designations (e.g. CISR, CIC, CRM, CWCA, and CPCU), and work toward earning identified certification(s) and/or designation(s).
Participate, and bring progressive ideas to the organization, so that we can better help our clients succeed.
Participate in any special projects and/or community functions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
Passion. This is the single most important characteristic within our organization.
Four-year college degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of formal education and relevant work experience required.
Experience and expertise operating in an electronic environment.
Excellent automation skills, including MIS, Outlook, Word, Excel, document management software, proprietary carrier systems, and phone systems.
Time management, organization, and communication skills (verbal and written).
High degree of self-motivation and self-direction.
