Job Description:

  • Automotive Sales & Leasing Consultants interview customers to assess their needs and match them with in-stock vehicle options
  • Sales & Leasing Consultants commit to becoming an auto sales expert and gain in-depth knowledge of sales skills, vehicles, and technology; stay well-read and continue to learn about new vehicles and their features
  • Sales & Leasing Consultants test drive vehicles to demonstrate industry-leading features
  • The present price and payment quotes and explain financing/leasing options for New and Used vehicles
  • Prospecting activities like making outbound phone calls, sending emails, and visiting local businesses with business cards and a presentation
  • Follow up with previous visitors, and prospective customers and return email/voicemail daily
  • Support online customers by setting appointments
  • Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads

Job Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have an extraordinary work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
  • Steady work history and the commitment to starting/continuing a new career
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
  • Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
  • Excellent appearance, above-average verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow-through
  • Must be able to handle rejection, sometimes several times per week when customers decide not to purchase from you, or to postpone a sale, without losing drive and intensity
  • Weekend availability is needed as well as frequent evening hours
  • Valid U.S. Driver's license
  • MUST pass a drug screen
