There are a variety of ongoing programs, services and collaborations in place to help achieve that goal and to foster the pursuit, production and promotion of art indigenous to the community. Among these are the Annual Summer Concert on the Lawn Series, the Arts Placement Services, Galleries, Jams, Square Dances, Grants to are artists and local organizations conducting Arts-Related Programming, Special Events and Educational Programming including performances, workshops, residences and scholarships. The WCAC offices and galleries are housed in the Jones House Community Center located on 604 W. King St. in beautiful downtown Boone. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday. 12 pm-5 pm. The three galleries are open to the public and there is no charge for admission. Monthly gallery openings are held the first Friday of every month from 6:30 until 8:00 pm.
